So I had an super duper fun weekend!
Friday: I had a super fun date to go see Tenebrae, a choir from London, come to BYU and perform the entirety of Handel's Messiah with my friend Sid. It was awesome! The Hallelujah chorus had to be my favorite part, but the whole thing was totally amazing. I was lame though and didn't take any pictures... sorry Mom.
Saturday: I got to compete in BYU DanceSport! It was so much fun!! My partner Landon and I competed the Cha-Cha in the Bronze American category. We did way better than we expected to! We made it all the way to Quarterfinals along with 2 other couples in our class. It was so much fun! We got to dance 3 rounds in the morning and then 2 more rounds in the evening. Afterwards, a few of us stayed to watch some of the other competitions. My favorite was the Gold Latin competition. A whole bunch of really good couples danced the Cha-Cha, Samba, Pasadoble, and Jive. It was awesome! I really enjoyed watching those. There were also a couple competitions for the younger elementary school aged kids. They were amazing. They were way better than me, they looked like they had been dancing since they were born - which they very well could of been!
