Tonight was the Yule Ball! It was so much fun! During the year each housing group at BYU hosts a formal dance, and Helaman's was Christmas! So we did the Yule Ball from Harry Potter. It was awesome. The decorations were amazing - Ice sculptures, huge water fountain, tons of Christmas trees, a bar with different Harry Potter drinks (the Butterbeer was on point), a lot of lights, and even suits of armor. I had so much fun. I went with my amazing group of friends, and had a lot of fun. My date was Steven, and I met him through my social dance class. He's also one of Gideons roommates! We had a lot of fun pulling out our social dance moves when songs came up that we could dance to. Overall, I had a lot of fun and I'm really grateful for the amazing friends that I have here at BYU that made it such a fun time.
