Okay, so on Tuesday we made our usual temple trip. It was very nice, but this time was a little different. Normally, Erin and I end up waiting about 5-10 minutes for our friend Gideon because he stays behind in the font after we're done and baptizes some more people, and this time was no exception. However, while Erin and I were waiting for Gideon one of the temple workers asked Erin and I to help do a few more family name confirmations. Of course we said yes, and we did. The temple worker who had asked us was younger, a recent RM, and he remembered my name but not Erin's. Not much to say there, but I said to him, "Yeah, good memory." Anyways, after we finished Erin and I went back outside to wait for Gideon. Gideon comes out and gives me a slip of paper and says, "So that temple worker wants to ask you on a date but his shift isn't finished at the temple yet." He had written his name and number on this piece of paper! I JUST GOT ASKED ON A DATE IN THE TEMPLE. Anyways, I texted him later that day and so far no dates have been asked and nothing exciting has really happened, but it's still a quality story.
In other news for this week, Trystaun left for his mission Tuesday and on that Tuesday I got a letter from him! He had sent it Saturday so I got it the day he left! It was really nice. I'll hear from him next on Wednesday during his preparation day when he's allowed to send emails. I'm excited.
Also this week I had a social dance lab, so we basically went to a huge dance and got to practice our moves and just have some fun. It was Halloween themed, so you could either go dressed up or in costume, and as a person that doesn't love to wear dresses, I decided to go as a girl from the 80's. My roommates followed suite and also dressed up to an 80's theme, but they were just going to a hall Halloween party. We looked super cute. Blue eyeshadow, ratted hair, and lots of blush.
