Phi Eta Sigma Induction

Today I went to the induction dinner for Phi Eta Sigma. I got inducted for having my GPA in the top 20% of the BYU Freshman Class. This is a one time induction, and once in you're in for life! It was a lot of fun coming to the ceremony, Erin and Shayla got inducted too! There was a pretty solid 3 course meal and it was really good! There was a chicken and rice thing for the entrée, and even though I don't like chicken I really enjoyed the meal. I ate the whole thing! Since I was allergic to the dessert, they brought me a fruit cup. It was super tasty <3

One Year Post-Op

March 24th last year I got my ears pinned! I'm about a year and 5 days post op and I'm so glad - I've never regretted my decision. Dr. Gallant is still one of my favorite humans <3

Women's Session

Yesterday I had the most amazing experience, I sang in the choir that performed in the General Women's Session of General Conference. It was amazing. We sang Come O Thou King of Kings, I Feel My Savior's Love, and My Heavenly Father Loves Me. It was amazing being up there where the MOTAB performs and getting to see the Conference Center from the other side. After the session, Dieter F. Uchtdorf had his hand on his heart and was waving at us and mouthing how beautiful it was and it was awesome!! HE MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME AND SMILED AND WAVED!!!! His wife came up with him and showed us the Y with her fingers for BYU! We weren't sure if that was her intention, or if she was trying to say I love you. Either way, super cute. Henry B. Eyring did his double fist bump to us and Jeffrey R. Holland gave us the double thumbs up and was mouthing how beautiful we sang and were. D. Todd Christofferson actually came up into the choir loft to say how beautiful it was and how he loved our music. Then all the General Auxiliary leaders came up and talked  to us about how beautiful our music was. People have been tweeting about us too, it's awesome!! When Dieter F. Uchtdorf and Henry B. Eyring walked in, you could tell that they were there before you could see them. The Spirit of the room was different and beautiful. It was such an amazing experience singing at that conference. Angels truly did attend and raise their voices with us.

My super awesome mom sent me a package this week! It had a whole bunch of decorations in it, and Rachel and I had a blast putting them up together. Getting packages is so exciting! We love decorating <3

Spring is Here!

Well, I've had my first real winter so that means that now I get my first real spring! Everything is blooming and it's so pretty! It's weird though, it's like I woke up and the trees weren't ugly anymore ahaha. I think I'm allergic though - my eyes are all itchy and I'm all congested. (thanks Dad lol) One of my hometeachers took some really pretty photos of the springtime - so I stole them to put here.
